Cozy up with Coffee and Banana Bread

I have always found great comfort and Joy in cooking my kitchen.  In these crazy times my husband and I have so much fun mixing drinks, cooking and watching old movies!  But one of my absolute favourite things is our morning coffee when we get cozy on the couch together with a blanket and have quiet music playing. It really is a special time of the day for me.  Our coffee this week was much sweeter today with this delicious banana bread my husband whipped up. He is a very good cook..... a little too good!

Stacy's Delicious Banana Bread

2 cups of all purpose flour

1 tsp of salt

1 tsp of baking soda

1 tsp of baking powder

1/2 cup of softened butter

3 ripe bananas

1 cup of white sugar or brown

1/4 tsp of vanilla extract

1 tbls of milk

1/2 cup of sour cream

1 cup of chopped walnuts

1. whisk flour, salt , baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl

2. beat butter and sugar in the mixer until smooth then beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla, milk and sour cream

3. pour mixture in to a bread pan ( i love using parchment paper in my loaf so you can just pop the loaf out!)

4. add walnuts to the top and press them in slightly

5. bake for one hour and 10 min at 325or until toothpick comes clean

Let rest for 15-20  minutes before cutting

pair up with the perfect cup of coffee
