I am Worth the Investment
Posted on April 18 2026
I’ve always loved living intentionally… but lately I’ve felt pushed to go the extra mile!
More life. More joy. More intention in the way I care for my spirit and my body.
A little reinvention for me as I’m heading into my 50s! I’m only 47 but I got to thinking how do I want to feel as I approach this milestone Im going to share a little of that journey here on my blog 🤍
I’ll be honest—I’m not a huge social media person.
But every once in a while, something comes across that really stays with me.
I’ve been seeing women—of all ages—deciding to take care of themselves again.
Getting in great shape.
Putting effort into how they look and feel.
Living like their life is not winding down… but opening up.
And it’s been so refreshing to see.
I remember seeing one woman who started weightlifting in her late 70s.
And I thought… why wouldn’t we live this way?
There’s something about this season of life—especially when your kids grow up and move out.
You’ve poured so much into your family.
And then one day, things get a little quieter.
And you might ask yourself :
Okay… now what?
At the start of this year, I made a decision.
I’m worth the investment.
So I began showing up for myself in a higher way.
Taking better care of my body.
Being intentional with my spirit.
Doing the things that build confidence.
Because self-worth comes from God.
But confidence comes from what you choose to do.
I know myself.
And right now, these small, intentional extras—
they’re exactly what I need.
And a few months in…
I can honestly say, I’m really enjoying elevating my routine ! It’s been fun and I always enjoy a little reinvention.
I don’t want to carry stress the way I used to.
I don’t want to carry negativity.
I don’t want to carry offense.
I’m take more time being aware of what I bring into my days.
Because what we carry… shapes everything.
“I have come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.” — John 10:10
If you’re in the mood for a little boost or a reinvention of your own, I’ll be sharing my own journey of living a little more intentionally… elevating the everyday, and stepping into a more extraordinary way of life.
