Hostess Note
Pressed coffee has become one of my little luxuries. It always reminds me of my hygge Danish roots and my grandpa, who truly loved his coffee. I don’t make it every day, but on mornings when family visits or on special occasions, it feels so meaningful. My daughter once gave me a beautiful pink Le Creuset French press with matching little pink teacups, and now it’s part of our coffee ritual together. Serving coffee this way feels extra special—quiet, cozy moments with her over steaming cups have become some of my favorite joys.
