Simplified Bloody Mary Lobster Pasta with Broiled Lobster Tails: A Holiday Favorite**
The holidays are the perfect time to slow down, savor delicious meals, and indulge in meaningful traditions. In our home, one of those traditions is cozying up to watch *It’s a Wonderful Life*, our favorite holiday movie. And what pairs better with a timeless classic than a classic dish? Enter: **Bloody Mary Lobster Pasta**—a luxurious yet simple recipe that feels as special as the season itself.

Why We Love This Dish**
This pasta combines the sweet, tender flavor of lobster with the tangy kick of a Bloody Mary-inspired sauce. It’s elegant enough for a festive evening but simplified with broiled lobster tails for an approachable twist. And because it’s the holidays, we make a celebration out of it.
Here’s how it works in our house: My husband preps the lobster tails while I work on the sauce—and yes, I sip champagne while I stir. It’s a holiday rule: Champagne makes everything more fun, and if you’re making lobster, why not celebrate in style?

*Recipe: Bloody Mary Lobster Pasta with Broiled Lobster Tails**
**Ingredients** *(Serves 4)*
*For the Lobster Tails:*
- 4 lobster tails
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
*For the Pasta Sauce:*
- 12 oz linguine
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp celery salt
- A dash of Tabasco sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp sugar
- Black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
**Instructions**
*Step 1: Broil the Lobster Tails**
1. Preheat your oven to **broil**. Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease it.
2. Use kitchen shears to cut through the top of each lobster shell, then gently pull the meat slightly out of the shell.
3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture over the lobster meat.
4. Broil the lobster tails for 6–8 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and golden.
*Fun Tip:* Let your partner handle the lobster tails while you focus on the sauce. It’s teamwork—and you’re free to sip that champagne guilt-free!
---
*Step 2: Make the Sauce**
1. Cook linguine in a pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.
3. Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Add diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt, Tabasco, sugar, and black pepper. Let the sauce simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
---
*Step 3: Combine and Serve**
1. Add the cooked linguine to the sauce and toss to coat. Use the reserved pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency if needed.
2. Plate the pasta and top each serving with a broiled lobster tail.
3. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
