Beef Bourguignon Stew

Beef Bourguignon Stew

My Husband loves stew so i really wanted to master a great stew for our freezing cold winters!!

I love Julia Child and her Beef Bourguignon so I made my stew Beef Bourguignon style.

What you will need

Red Wine (of course! I'd get 2 bottles)

-3 pounds of Beef chuck boneless

-5-6 medium potatoes

-4-5 carrots

-1 medium onion

-mushrooms

-2 ribs of celery

-beef broth

-tomato paste

What you will need to do

First things first pour yourself a nice glass of red wine

Toss diced beef in flour salt and pepper

Then in your dutch oven fry olive oil till brown add celery and onions until soft add a generous glass of red wine bring to a bit of a boil, then add 1 cup of beef broth with a tablespoon of tomato paste with a bay leaf. Then move to the oven without lid for 15 minutes, after 15 minutes remove from oven add your mushrooms (i sauté before I add) potatoes and carrots.

Bake at 350 until veggies are soft.

I hope your Family enjoys as much as mine!

Until next time keep the spice in your life and BON APPETIT!
