Apron Cake With Leila Shook

I have been so so excited to share this blog post! Me and Leila connected and became friends on Instagram quite a while ago. I just love her work! So when she said she was going to do an apron cake well I couldn’t have been more excited!! It was an absolute thrill and honour to see her do this!

Can you believe people on her Instagram accused her of faking this cake they said only part of it was , so in her Instagram stories she cut into every piece showing her audience it was all cake 🍰!!

Bio:

Leila Shook is a stay-at-home mom and the owner of Shook Up Cakes. She is well known for her colourful and incredible gravity defying cakes and currently resides in Chilliwack, B.C., Canada, with her supporting husband and three vivacious redheads. What started out as a hobby back in 2011 quickly blossomed into a full time obsession. Since then, Leila has been featured in a number of magazines, won local and Canada-wide competitions and is also a Food Network Champion. No cake is ever too grand for this baker. In fact, the more crazier the better!
